First Section of this project was a Bracket for the LG 32 Ergo Monitor Power Brick
Designed these brackets to hold the massive power brick for the LG 32UN880-B to a surface other than the floor or desk surface.
Design Considerations
Uses Command Strip so that it can be moved when needed.
Added cable routing to the bottom so the power out cable can easily be routed to the same side as the power in cable or vice versa.
Bracket thickness is for strength as well as extra room for heat dissipation of the adapter.
Happy with the solution I arrived at as it keeps the design simple while routing the cable cleanly as well.
I am also glad that I did not mount these permanently. After getting the monitor installed and using it for 3 days there was a dead pixel already. I was also disappointed in the light bleed in the corners of the screen. The bottom right corner in particular looked extra bright causing it to always look gray. Unfortunately, I will be on the look out for another monitor. Hopefully someone else had a better copy than mine and can use this part though.
The other section of this project is the desk clip system.
I designed these clips to keep multiple cables managed under the desk out of the way. Cables are easy to slide into the clips and more difficult to get out. The parts print without support. They use poster size command strip to stick to the underside of the desk.
It may not be the cleanest of setups still but it keeps the cables out of site.
Thanks for reading and best of luck with what you create!
