For one I was excited to find a Dead Silence box with these in it in stock at my local hobby store. They were fun to assemble and paint. I kept to the color pallet of the Pathfinders I had completed. I am sticking to the box art for the first sets of minis I am doing so that I can focus on the base techniques to achieve that look.
I did experiment with terrain paste on these though which I do feel like adds to the look of them. Still working on what the overall bases will look like for the army but happy with them right now.
An issue I had on these is was that the matte top coat turned a bit white. I think it was a little too humid when I sprayed them hopefully the next time is smoother on the finish coat.
Next up I am going to take a break from the Tau to work on another Kill Team I picked up which I ma looking forward to practicing some more blending on.
